Kokuhaku Yokou Renshuu: Heart no Shuchou is the seventh light novel in the Kokuhaku Yokou Renshuu novel series. This book continues to put focus on the Class 1-1 characters, this time covering the backstory of Arisa Takamizawa in middle school as seen in "Heart no Shuchou". This book is the first to be solely penned by the second author of the light novel series, Mari Kousaka, following her involvement in the novelizations of the Qualia Animation movies and her previous work in Kokuhaku Yokou Renshuu: Koi-Iro ni Sake.
