Chiaki Serizawa (芹沢千秋 Serizawa Chiaki) is a minor character in Confession Executive Committee's Love Series, and Haruki Serizawa's deceased older brother.

Appearance[]

Chiaki and Haruki look one in the same, but his hair is slightly messier than Haruki's. He has blond hair like his brother, but his roots are brown. In the anime however, the brown roots are done away with and his hair is completely blond like Haruki.

His school uniform is worn open.

Haruki Serizawa[]

Little brother. Served as a role model for him and loved his brother dearly.

Saku Akechi[]

Close friend and schoolmate since middle school. At first, Chiaki wanted to befriend Akechi, but many of his attempts fell on deaf ears due to Akechi's loner nature. They eventually began to see from one another's point of view, and struck a genuine friendship that lasted until Chiaki's premature death. Akechi begins to distance himself from Haruki as a result.

Miou Aida[]

Saved her from drowning in a river when she was a child.

Yamato Ogino[]

A middle school friend. Hung out with him and Saku.

Etymology[]

The name Chiaki means "thousand" (千) (chi) and "autumn" (秋) (aki).

Chiaki's surname Serizawa means "celery" (芹) (seri) and "marsh" (沢) (sawa/zawa).

Trivia[]

Chiaki also had a habit of eating lollipops, something that Saku would later take up himself.
- Like Haruki, Chiaki's name is inspired by the seasons. His given name contains the character for fall.
He had fragile health due to his pancreatic cancer and heart problems.
His favorite foods are sweets and fruits.
